Review guidelines
Manuscripts are read by the editorial board. The review process follows a double-blind review system. Manuscripts evaluated by the editorial team that do not meet the criteria of the Atma Reksa Ende Journal will be rejected without external review. Manuscripts deemed to be of good quality will be sent to a reviewer with expertise in the relevant field. The editor will then make a decision, based on the reviewer's recommendation, whether to reject the manuscript, recommend specific revisions, or accept it.
A reviewer receives a manuscript for double-blind review (with authors anonymous) from the handling editor or editorial office. If the manuscript does not fall within the reviewer's area of expertise, the reviewer may decline to review it and recommend another more qualified reviewer. Each manuscript is reviewed by one reviewer.
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on the quality and substance of the writing (excluding grammatical aspects), which includes novelty, originality, usefulness, as well as the validity of citations and references.
