Withdrawl Policy

Withdrawal Policy

The Withdrawal Policy of the Atma Reksa journal governs the procedures for authors who wish to retract articles that have been submitted or published. The following are key aspects of this policy:

  1. Withdrawal of Articles Prior to Peer Review: Authors may withdraw an article before it enters the peer review process without incurring any fees. However, authors must submit a formal request to the journal editor.
  2. Withdrawal of Articles After Peer Review: If the article has undergone the peer review process, authors must pay a withdrawal fee as compensation for the time and effort expended by the editor and reviewers.
  3. Withdrawal of Articles After Acceptance for Publication: If the article has been accepted for publication, authors are required to pay 100% of the publication fee as a penalty.
  4. Consequences of Article Withdrawal: If authors withdraw an article without following the established procedures, they and their affiliated institutions may be blacklisted from this journal.
  5. Retraction of Published Articles: Articles that have been published may only be retracted in exceptional circumstances, such as plagiarism, scientific errors, or ethical violations.
  6. Withdrawal Request Process: Authors must submit a formal, signed request letter from all relevant authors, explaining the reasons for the article withdrawal.
