AI Companion dan Krisis Kehadiran Personal dalam Era Kecerdasan Buatan: Tinjauan Antropologi Kristiani, Spiritualitas Perjumpaan dan Pastoral Gereja

Perkembangan kecerdasan buatan telah melahirkan fenomena AI companion, yaitu sistem berbasis percakapan yang dirancang untuk memberikan dukungan emosional dan pengalaman relasional kepada pengguna. Kehadiran teknologi ini menawarkan manfaat berupa pengurangan kesepian dan ruang refleksi diri, tetapi sekaligus menimbulkan pertanyaan mengenai kualitas relasi manusia dan makna kehadiran personal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis fenomena AI companion dari perspektif antropologi Kristiani, spiritualitas perjumpaan, dan pastoral Gereja. Penelitian menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan pendekatan analisis isi dan interpretatif terhadap berbagai artikel ilmiah, karya filsafat, dokumen Gereja, dan literatur teologis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun AI companion mampu memberikan dukungan emosional dan mengurangi kesepian secara sementara, teknologi tersebut tidak dapat menggantikan kehadiran personal yang autentik karena tidak memiliki alteritas, kebebasan, dan tanggung jawab moral sebagaimana relasi antarmanusia. Dalam perspektif antropologi Kristiani, manusia merupakan makhluk relasional yang dipanggil untuk hidup dalam persekutuan dan pemberian diri. Oleh karena itu, spiritualitas perjumpaan (culture of encounter) yang dikembangkan Paus Fransiskus menjadi relevan sebagai tanggapan terhadap krisis relasi manusia modern. Kajian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan pastoral Gereja dan pendidikan literasi digital yang humanis agar perkembangan kecerdasan buatan tetap berorientasi pada martabat manusia, budaya dialog, dan persaudaraan.
